Subliminal Flash is based on 2 principles:
1) We can perceive some messages on a subconscious level that we do not see on a conscious level. The human brain takes in all the information it needs to build a response from even an image flashed at 1/100th of a second.

However, if a person is watching an advertisement on TV (which is typically about 25 seconds long) then the image on the 25th frame is seen for a total of 1 second. It may still pass undetected but it does influence the subconscious. In many countries there are laws and codes that prohibit the use of "25th frame" in advertisement.
